Q: Describe ‘An Australian Wintour’ in 3 words?
A: Fashion, Beauty, Travel
Q: Design and style are essential to Design Identity’s values. How do you incorporate your design and style values into your everyday life?
A: By making a conscious decision to live everyday with flair, beauty & creativity.
Q: If you could choose one thing to represent your style what would it be?
A: A blank canvas. I love the idea of a clean slate and being able to create something new without any past concepts clouding creativity.
Q: What are your favourite Australian brands and fashion houses?
A: Dion Lee for innovation, Sass & bide for market leadership
Q: If you were given the chance to design a label (clothing/food/etc.) what would you name it and why?
A: Curiosity Experiment – to encourage freedom & individuality
Q: Online shopping – friend or foe? Why? (in particular what do you think of our ghost mannequin technique)
A: FRIENDDDDDDDDD! I live for the package being delivered to my desk at work. I think the ghost mannequin is a great technique as it allows the shopper to envision how the product will sit on their own body.
Q: Do you have any new projects or exclusives you’d like to share with us?
A: An Australian Wintour will be focusing on travel for the fashion/ lifestyle conscious woman. I’m personally sick of reading about ‘romantic getaways’ or ‘backpacker fun’ so we are creating a new niche!
